Everyone knows that drinking too much is bad for you. But it doesn't only affect the person itself. It also affects everyone around. This is the core message I tried to convey when creating this game. Everyone knows the danger, but not everyone understands the impact.

You are greeted with a quite normal scene. A family with a newborn, enjoying some time together in their home. This display is familiar with almost everyone, it lets the player know that everything is normal.

This game has only 1 mechanic: drinking. When hitting spacebar, the man on the couch takes a sip of his beer. This interaction is linked to a healthbar. This healthbar slowly decreases over time, urging the player to take another sip. A point is added to the score whenever the player takes a sip.

In this game, the player has to choices: he keeps sipping from his beer and keep the game running, or he can stop and let his health bar run out. If he keeps drinking, you can immediately see the effects: First his wife gets angry and sad, then she leaves you and in the end they take away your child and leave you alone with only your trusted beers.
The game is designed to force you to keep drinking. This is done on purpose to let the player experience the true danger of an alcohol addiction: You can't stop. When everything around you crumbles down, you just keep drinking.

In theory, this game has no ending. You can keep drinking infinitely, you just repeat the neverending cycle of pressing the spacebar. But if you decide to let your healthbar run out, you are faced with a sinister last message. This last message shows your character on a obituary. This is meant to give players a final warning sign: If you keep this destructive drinking cycle alive, your not gonna be around for al long time.
